Noice was awful

Clean and comfortable

The room I had was facing the metro line above ground, so it was noisy with vibration every couple of minutes.

The Hotel was near the Gare du Nord train station. It had free wifi.

Budget hotel, very basic. As 2 single women we were a bit intimidated by the area near the Hotel. Loads of dodgy looking men around, leering at us. The receptionist told us to be vigilant, watch our bags, not to walk on the right hand side of the street as there were men dealing in drugs! Having said that, we survived but we would not stay in that area again. Hotel was clean n friendly but we would not go back.

When we arrived they told us that our rooms are "not ready", although we made the reservation 4 months before. They gave us another room (inferior) for the first night and promised that they will transfer the money for the first night back to us (but guess what .. they didn't !) . that first night room was awful, it was noisy all night long because of the trains and because local arabic people arranged a fruit market, dropping boxes and shouting at each other without breaks. After that, they gave us our normal rooms; they were on the rear of the building and you couldn't hear all the noise on that side. Anyway ... conclusion 1. good location, close to trains going in the city center 2. poor breakfast 3. bad staff 4. bad smell in the rooms 5. ugly area, local people urinating on the streets 6. unadvisable for a woman to walk the streets alone after 8 pm. 7. my advice: try something else !

Hotel is not expensive and very nice. Kind staffs. It is a best hotel for city traveling, because it is situated near Gare du Nord, so it is comfortable to get to any point of Paris very fast.

breakfast is very little. It cost 7 euro, and you always hungry after you take it. However outside you can find cafe, where you can take big salads for 8-10 euro and it will help you not to be hungry till supper. So we can suggest to stuff, change the breakfast menu and more people will by it.

The zone. It was full of suspicious people. It's not possible to take a walk quietly. A coup of hot water was not available. And finally, the second night we booked in a much better hostel, in a better zone, for the same price.

The most I liked in the hotel is that is close to the subway, the price, rather comfortable room and kind staff

As for the very hotel I did not like that the room was not so clear,and because the train goes to close to the hotel it aws difficult to sleep for me. The quarter where this hotel is situated also did not liked to me

I don't know how would a respectable and serius company like ,,Booked.net,, let this hotel to particape with them after all as bad as possible reviews from those people which stayed at this hotel ??? The hotel seems to be cheating people instead of serving them . Once again I would like to thank ,,Booked.net,, staffs as they realy tried to help me in this case and called the hotel many times on behalf of me . But even they couldn't do anything for me !

I've been a Booked.net customer since 2007 and I'm son happy with their service and good accomodation deals.But this time I booked this room without reading reviews left by those people who stayed at this hotel before.Unfortunately I realised that the location and the hotel condition were not suitable to stay at with my family and then just a few minutes later I decided to cancell reservation .Although ,,Booked.net,, staffs tried to solve the problem with hotel for so long , the hotel refused to refund my money back and they charged me total amount of booking (Even more ! instead of reservation fee of € 304 they charged me € 316 !!! ) Please read reviews of this hotel carefully and don't give them your credit card at all ...

• The owner was very rude and not helpful at all. • There were no phones and bad Wi Fi signal. • Cats in the hallway/lobby. • Dirty pillows and bed sheets. • HORRIBLE location. • The windows wouldn't close.

The location is quite easy to get to the metro or rer, and the price is no so high.

I paid at reception by cash, because the staff told me the pos machine didn't work, but it charged the same amount also from my credit card on the date of check-in without any notification from the hotel.

Location to Eurostar train Station.

Three days stay during which there was no heating for two days. Basic tea/coffee facility would be great in room. Water in the shower was only luke warm which combined with no heating was really unplesant, hairdryer would also be nice.

It was a room for 3 people. We had a 2-bedroom apartment finally. Size is really large. Breakfast was also very good. Close to the metro station.

Surrounding environment was not good. Felt insecure as there are quite a lot of bad people nearby. Staff was not responsive to emails. Don't send them, it's useless.
